What it does
Auto-green is the mod that most of you are looking for — it automatically times and fully performs shots for you. It is not going to work in 100% of situations; good values should have you at ~70% with auto-green.
You click R3 — press the right stick straight in like a button, do not flick it — while your player is standing still. The script presses Square, holds it for exactly the number of milliseconds on this page, then releases. The right stick is held neutral the whole time. This is timing only; there is no rhythm sweep.
The menu has two pages for this value: Auto-Green (page 3 / 25) and Standstill (page 19 / 25, in the shot-pack section). They are the same setting. Change it on either page.
How to turn it on
Hold L2 (LT on Xbox) and press Options (Menu on Xbox). The menu draws on the Zen's OLED, not on the TV. Keep L2 held the whole time you are in it.
- Tap D-pad Right until the OLED shows Auto-Green (page 3 / 25).
- Tap Up or Down to switch it On.
- Hold Cross (A on Xbox) and tap Up/Down to move the value in 5 ms steps. The range is 300 to 900.
- Release L2. In game, stand still and click R3 to shoot.
Before the first shot, confirm the in-game settings: Shot Timing Shots and Layups, Shot Meter Off, Shot Feedback All Shots. Those two timing/meter settings are the number-one reason people think auto-green is broken.
Tuning
One rule, and it applies to every auto-green page in the menu:
| Shot feedback says | Do this |
|---|---|
| Early | Raise the value (hold Square longer). |
| Late | Lower the value (release sooner). |
Test in online MyCourt, not offline — offline timing differs. The template default is 660; yew's Sept 3 value is 710. Move in 5 ms steps, take ten shots, read the feedback, adjust. Stop when most shots come back green or slightly early/late in both directions.
If you are still bricking with a sensible value, the problem is almost always the jumpshot, not the number. Fast, straight releases give the widest windows.
Conflicts & gotchas
- Click, don't flick. Flicking R3 is a normal stick shot. The mod fires on the click.
- Standstill only. Left stick must be in the centre. Moving shots belong to the shot pack.
- If you set SQ Remap to R3, the Auto-Green click moves to L3. With any other remap it stays on R3.
- With Turbo Fades On, R2 + a fade uses the turbo hold band (727–823 ms) instead of this page's value.
- ~70% with good values is yew's own framing. Nothing here guarantees a green.
- Pressing X (A on Xbox) bails any running shot combo. The script never drives the left stick — you keep control of movement.
This page documents the yew2K mod set. Values and page numbers come from the shipping build; your Generator build on yew.gg/2k may show different defaults, and the OLED is always right. Support for the yew2K NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script is on yew.gg/discord.
