What it does
Auto Tempo — also called Auto Rhythm — adds tempo to shots you take with the right stick. It only affects stick shots. If you shoot with Square, this page does nothing for you and you should leave it Off.
Button Rhythm is the Square-shot equivalent. The two are separate pages because they act on different inputs.
How to turn it on
Hold L2 (LT on Xbox) and press Options (Menu on Xbox). The menu draws on the Zen's OLED, not on the TV. Keep L2 held the whole time you are in it.
- Tap D-pad Right to Auto Tempo (page 6 / 25).
- Tap Up or Down to switch it On or Off.
- Release L2.
Tuning
There is no value on this page. It ships Off and yew leaves it Off because yew shoots with the button. Turn it On only if your shooting motion is a right-stick flick, then test in online MyCourt.
Conflicts & gotchas
- Standstill Auto-Green presses Square for you with the stick held neutral, so Auto Tempo has no effect on those shots.
- Button shooters: leave it Off. It is not a second layer on top of Button Rhythm.
This page documents the yew2K mod set. Values and page numbers come from the shipping build; your Generator build on yew.gg/2k may show different defaults, and the OLED is always right. Support for the yew2K NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script is on yew.gg/discord.
