What it does

On defense, the right stick mirrors the left stick. You steer with the left stick as usual and the script feeds the same direction into the right stick, which gives tighter on-ball movement than the left stick alone.

How to turn it on

Hold L2 (LT on Xbox) and press Options (Menu on Xbox). The menu draws on the Zen's OLED, not on the TV. Keep L2 held the whole time you are in it.

  1. Tap D-pad Right to Defense Assist (page 7 / 25).
  2. Tap Up or Down to switch it On or Off.
  3. Release L2.

Tuning

No value. It ships On and yew leaves it On. If you prefer to work the right stick yourself on defense, turn it Off and compare a few possessions.

Conflicts & gotchas

  • The mirroring is on the right stick only. The left stick is never driven by the script.
  • Nothing here changes shooting. Shot pages are unaffected by this toggle.
