Turbo Fades

What it does

When Turbo Fades is On and you shoot a fade while holding R2, the script uses the turbo hold windows — a band from 727 to 823 ms — instead of the standing value on the Auto-Green page. R2 fades get their own window rather than sharing the standstill number.

When it is Off, an R2 fade times off the normal fade value like any other fade.

How to turn it on

Hold L2 (LT on Xbox) and press Options (Menu on Xbox). The menu draws on the Zen's OLED, not on the TV. Keep L2 held the whole time you are in it.

1. Tap D-pad Right to Turbo Fades (page 4 / 25).
2. Tap Up or Down to switch it On or Off.
3. Release L2. There is no ms value on this page.

Tuning

There is nothing to fine-tune here — the 727–823 ms band is fixed in the build. If your turbo fades come back early or late, the number to move is the Left Fade or Right Fade value for the non-turbo case, and the jumpshot itself. Re-run the Generator on yew.gg after a patch to get the current band.

If you also run Button Rhythm, its sweep runs about 18% slower on turbo fades. That multiplier is automatic.

Conflicts & gotchas

• Insta-Stop fires a stop input before off-the-dribble shots and can cancel fades. Turn it Off when you run fades, switch it to Left-Trigger mode, or hold the stick in the fade direction through the animation.
• Turbo Fades only matters while R2 is held. A fade without R2 uses the standard fade value.
• Pressing X (A on Xbox) bails any running shot combo. The script never drives the left stick — you keep control of movement.
